The mission of Care Through Touch Institute (CTI) is to be present with human suffering and promote healing through human connection.
Therapeutic caring touch is the heart and foundation of Care Through Touch Institute's history and mission.
CTI considers itself to be one of the many vital social service agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area working in collaboration with those who provide food, shelter and healthcare to members in our community that are experiencing homelessness or who are marginally housed.
CTI works to address an un-met need: the need for love, community, and empowerment by addressing the deep spiritual and emotional needs of our community and working with trauma in a way that allows for trust and resilience to grow.
Therapeutic caring touch is the heart and foundation of Care Through Touch Institute's history and mission.
Every first Friday of each month from 3-4:30 pm, Hospitality House joins neighborhood community partners like DeMarillac Academy, Curry Senior Center, Larkin Street Services
Every other month, CTI joins with over 1500 individual community volunteers quarterly to provide health and human services to the homeless and marginalized people of San Francisco.
Once monthly CTI partners with Lava Mae at their Pop-Up Care Villages in order to offer therapeutic touch to our homeless neighbors.
